What factors will affect the detection accuracy of direct reading spectrometers

Enterprises and institutions need to accurately analyze the element content in metals during incoming material testing, process control, and finished product testing. Production design requires a high cost: purchasing expensive raw materials to achieve product quality. On the contrary, if the element content can be accurately measured, producers can use small raw material inputs to control product quality. Elemental analysis is also a determining factor. The sixth generation SPECTROMAXx direct reading spectrometer adopts a new regression calculation mode for the working detection line of elements, and the new application report data reflects the trend of industrial development. The short measurement time is attributed to the new software features and optimized plasma generator light source parameters. The short excitation time and argon gas saving mode reduce the consumption of argon gas. The sixth generation SPECTROMAXx has low daily operating costs. The hardware diagnostic system provides a status indication function for the instrument, prompting users to maintain the instrument as needed in a timely manner.

What factors will affect the detection accuracy of a direct reading spectrometer

1. Personnel training. The detection accuracy is closely related to the habits of the operator, and the personnel being tested must undergo professional training and master the operating methods proficiently before they can operate the machine. Inspectors must have corresponding qualifications and be familiar with national standards and the allowable error range of national standards.

2. Electrodes, adapters, rubber rings, and other consumables should be regularly inspected and replaced immediately if any discrepancies are found. Daily instrument maintenance is also important as it directly affects the accuracy of instrument analysis, which is an important aspect of ensuring the accuracy of instrument analysis.

3. After each measurement, it is necessary to carefully check whether the combustion point is normal. If diffusion discharge is found, it needs to be retested.

4. After measuring about 20 times, the equipment should take a break. When measuring in a high temperature environment, increasing the number of breaks may damage the instrument and affect the measurement results. When turning on and off the machine, pay attention to the interval of at least 5 minutes.

5. Grinding samples with different substrates should be replaced with sandpaper to avoid contamination of the substrate time as much as possible, and attention should also be paid when making curves.

6. The exhaust gas discharge pipeline needs to be cleaned regularly. The cleaning method is to adjust the argon gas flow rate to a high level to prevent waste gas from entering the argon gas pipeline and causing pollution during pipeline cleaning. Remove the rubber hose and discharge the waste gas. Pay attention to sealing with silicon when installing the rubber hose.
